Slugger discusses 10-year, $275 million deal with Yankees

Rodriguez and the Yankees ended their nearly three-week impasse Wednesday and were discussing a 10-year deal that will be worth about $275 million, according to a person familiar with the negotiations.

Ralcorp Holdings Inc. agreed to acquire the Post cereals business of Kraft Foods Inc., paying about $1.6 billion in stock for the business. The deal is part of Kraft's push to get rid of slow-growth assets under Chief Executive Irene Rosenfeld.
